Our stay at the Lion Inn was excellent! The staff were very friendly and helpful, it was a short drive to the historic district, and plenty of food and coffee within a short walking distance from the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing managers!

The staff was super friendly!! Both managers greeted us when we arrived! Gave us an upgrade to a bigger room which we will definitely be booking next time! They kept everything clean and were just friendly and awesome! I felt welcomed and safe there. The environment was quiet and so easy to sleep.

Distance to the reason people come to Saint Augustine is 1 mile. You can do it on foot if you had to. For some reason I thought there were larger beds and that’s what I booked. It wasn’t uncomfortable. Room are rather small but I wasn’t paying several hundred dollars a night at Christmas, either. Life is a trade off. The staff was friendly enough. The location was good. 4 of 5 is a good score based on the you get what you pay for scale. Invest in larger towels and better pillows and I’d likely try the place out again.

Don't believe the photos on line. The bathroom windowsill was filthy. The water in the bathroom sink hardly can out. I took pictures and video to make a claim. The person at front desk was rude and nasty. She didn't even try to resolve. Upon check in she abruptly stated check out is at 11. We didn't even get to the room. More of Roach motel than Hotel.
