This is our new go-to place to stay in downtown St. Augustine! My husband and I used to be St. Augustine locals but now live about an hour south. We booked The Foreword (Unit A) for two nights, December 30 and 31st, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We could not have asked for a better experience, particularly during the Nights of Lights craziness! Check in instructions were super clear, and there is dedicated parking for one vehicle right across the street from the Three Stories Inn. Keyless entry was seamless, and we were so pleasantly surprised to see complimentary bottled water provided. The suite itself was gorgeous and clean, with so many thoughtful touches, like tea and coffee provided, and in-unit laundry with supplies. It also has a fully functioning kitchen and plenty of supplies, though we didn’t really cook. The bed was super comfortable as well, and we LOVED the balcony. There’s nothing like enjoying your morning coffee or tea with a view of historic St. Augustine! The first floor of the building belongs to La Nouvelle French Bistro (formerly Preserved Restaurant). We had NYE dinner here, and it was literally one of the best meals we’ve ever had! Noise from the restaurant was minimal and not disruptive at all inside of the suite. Finally, communication with this host was 10/10, with responses to our questions coming within minutes, even during a holiday week. We can’t wait to come back!
