It looks so have been recently remodeled. Very clean and spotless bathroom. It was a quick ride to the historic downtown area where you found plenty of shops and places to eat. Tim Hortons was only a five minute walk around the corner.

We booked the Picket Fence Motel last minute by necessity since everyone in town seemed to have no vacancy. We ended up thrilled with our choice. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was absolutely spotless. Not even a speck of dust to be found! Our check in was quicj and easy and the staff was super friendly and knowledgable about everything going on in the community. Being a motel, there wasnt a lot of extra services but it was everything we needed and within a short walk of anywhere in Saint Andrews. Our only complaint might be the road noise but we were in a unit closest to the road. One of the units at the back of the property woukd likely avoid this minor nuisance. We would definitely stay again.

The absolute nicest motel ever. Looks typical from the outside, but the rooms are super clean and tidy (if somewhat outdated). They were very helpful and friendly at check-in. And there are some tables set up in the shady yard where you can sit, enjoy a snack and beverage, play cards, and chill. We'd definitely stay here again if we return to the area.
