Shortly after checking into our room, multiple fingernails were found on the floor and bed, even though the bed was made. A hair was found in the bathroom, which can easily happen and not a cause for too much concern but, upon closer inspection, hair clippings were found on the floor surrounding the toilet and next to the tub. One can assume what part of the body those came from. The room was very disappointing from a cleanliness standpoint. These issues were brought to the front desk and were quickly remedied. The woman working the desk was very helpful and accommodating and offered us an upgraded room to make our stay more comfortable. This new room was cleaner and put us more at ease during our stay. The only critique of the upgraded room, and also applicable to our original room, is that it was very dated. Overall, the front desk staff was awesome but the hotel is in desperate need of updates, renovations, and a higher standard for housekeeping. Next time we'll be looking at a different hotel.
