Staff was nice, security was very kind to guide us to our cabin in the dark. We arrived after closing time so security checked us in. They where kind and explained eveything well. We stayed during the weekday so the pool outside was closed. I did try the pool inside but it looked like it needed some deep cleaning. I asked about the pool outside but they said it was closed. Pool outside looked well kept. They recommend we swim by the lake in the beach area but there was geese poop on the sand. We did the pattel boat ride for an hour. No life jackets where offered to me or my family. Not sure what the legal use of a life jacket in virgiana is but in georgia it's the law to wear one. I felt a little unsafe and uncomfortable being on the battle boat without it. Scenery was nice in the water, we got to see wild life while on the boat. We also played mini golf course which was very nice. We mainly stayed for a wedding event which they offered a dicount to guests but when I called to make a reservation they told me they did not have any cabins available but their online website had planty available which we rented through without the guest discount. The club house where the event was held was very nice and we enjoyed that day the best. Our stay was okay in the cabins, it looked like they patroled the area a couble of times which made me feel safer. Overall our stay was okay not something I'd travel over 12h again to go to though.
