Relaxing Lake Side Retreat

Really enjoyed my getaway here! The place was clean and had everything I needed. Fishing near the docks and beach was a cool experience as well! Easy commute to visit friends in Keene. Reasonable pricing. I’ll be back!

I didn’t receive the initial check in email with door code but once I reached out (around 9pm) they were very helpful and sent me the information. The little house was perfect. Great location to visit friends in Keene and enjoyed the public beach on the lake. I felt very safe as a female traveling alone and the area was very quiet. Will definitely stay again if I’m back in the area!

The apartment is lovely, all the amenities are there...great cutlery, granite countertops, smart TV. The bed in the bedroom was comfy. The sleeper couch...not so much. If you have kids over 12, don't expect them to be able to sleep well on that couch. When we arrived, we were supposed to be able to get in using a lock box. The property manager sent me an email about a month before my trip with the check-in information--they sent the wrong code for the lock box and the wrong number of the person I was supposed to reach out if I couldn't get in (luckily the phone number was for a former employee who was still able to help me). The lake access was not awesome but we went to the public beach, which is very nearby, and that was fine. Also, there are tons of birds there so anyone who is a birder would like the screened in porch. I saw wrens, catbirds, a chipping sparrow, a yellow throat, red-winged blackbird, hermit thrush, red-eyed vireo, cowbird and blue headed-vireo, just to name a few!
