"Beautiful old hotel. Like stepping back in time. Gorgeous furniture and art. Staff was wonderful. Room was very clean. Bathroom was huge. Most comfortable mattress I have slept on at a hotel. Check-in and parking were very easy. Worth the trip back to Parkersburg just to stay here again."

"Room was listed as non smoker but was cery much a cig smoking room. We bought an air purifier and candles to get rid of the stench. Shower curtain moldy. Clearly hasn't been updated in 15+ years. A/C worked well and water got hot eventually."
