"Probably the best hostal I've stayed in the Dominican Republic. Clean, comfy and perfectly located in the city of Pedernales. I honestly don't understand why people rate this hostal less than 4 stars. Please, keep in mind that it's not a resort with it's own beach and multiple private pools."

"Electricity kept going out and cable but the cable didn't work the electricity did. Nice clean pool great view. Very hard to find. It is actually in los patos beach not paraíso beach area. Good that breakfast was included nice and filling."

Another negative, the restaurant has a dish that I ordered for $800 pesos and the lady at the restaurant charged double the price for the tourist, I ended up paying almost $2,000 for the dish and one small beer. Keep an eye on your orders and if possible take a picture of the menu when you order. Or just go eat elsewhere. Other than that, I absolutely recommend this hotel. "
