The gentleman at the front desk was rude. Not friendly at all. I was greeted by being demanded that I wear a face mask. This man was a jerk, I could hear him berating other guests down in the lobby as I was getting ice. He made us feel unwelcome, like we were bothering him by being there.

The hotel was showing some signs of aging in the pool and hot tub but nothing that would stop me from going back. Very clean room and friendly staff. Bed was a little squeaky but comfortable.

Hampton Inn Elkhart Indiana

We were traveling to Iowa from Northern NY, our relatives suggested the Hampton Inn @ Elkhart Indiana as a great place to stay. We arrived to a room that wreaked of smoke and the comforters on the bed were all bunched up like they had been washed and the lining was tangled, they certainly were not comfortable or suitable for a room of that price. We realized that it was a smoking room after the fact ... however that together with the linens and the price we paid for the room were enough to make us not stay there on the return trip. For 1/2 the price of that room we found other clean and suitable accommodations on our way back.
