Located in the heart of the Somerset countryside, this is the perfect rural retreat, ideally situated to explore the West country. Glastonbury, Wells, Sherborne, the Dorset coast and the Somerset Levels are all within easy reach. Enjoy a pint of real ale in front of a roaring fire in a country pub, take your dog for a walk on a quiet country lane or just relax and unwind in the garden.
The cottage has 1 double bedroom, a large, light-filled living room with a comfortable double sofa bed, a separate, well-equipped kitchen and separate dining room with french windows opening onto the garden.

Reasonable, not very clean
The location is not nice for a long time, you are very far away from all the beautiful areas. There is not much to do in the immediate area.
The house was not very clean (spiderwebs and very dirty oven dishes, teapot and coffee pot that we did not use.
The mattress on the bed is very bad (sagging) and the sofa in the living room is also sagging.
The shower wall of the bath is leaking, causing the floor to become with a lot of water.
The landlady was friendly and brought clean towels and sheets halfway through the stay

the property has everything you need for a short stay;
the „private garden“ is realy very small;
some furniture should be replaced (e.g. the sofa) and the windows need to be cleaned sometimes;
