Bad host.

Was terrible, the host tried to charge us 150.00 when it was reserved for 59 so I just turned around and left . But the spo tried to charge me a dollar it got declined then , 4 days later they tried to pull the 59.00 off my card 2wice, the whole place looked dirty and lobby smelled awful .

So I am a platinum member with Expedia and I stay in a lot of hotels and this one was by far the worst I have ever stayed in. The rooms are dirty, and half of the outlets in the room did not work. There was a gap in the door, so it left a draft in. They charge a $50 deposit when you check in for “ incidentals“ but I have no idea what incidentals they are referring to since there’s not a convenience center in the hotel. While staying there it snowed and snow was on the walkway. I track snow into the room and use the towel to wipe up the snow and the towel turned black, which tells me the floors have not been cleaned in quite some time. The bed was uncomfortable and outdated. After checking out, I was only refunded $30 of my deposit because they said I stained a towel and they could not get the stain out. The same towel I used to wipe up the snow off their dirty hotel room floor. I would stay away from this property.

I reserved a king for 2 nights. The first night we had to stay in a 2 bed queen that the heat did not work in. I asked that the next night we get the king like we reserved. The receptionist called the next day with a king available. The following morning we went to take a shower and the shower head was broke so it barely sprayed it just drained out of the bottom of the shower head. Very inconvenient considering I needed to be at work soon so I was depending on the shower.

Dust on office chairs legs faucet in tub comes off has screw bracket holding top on toilet seat cig burns on it . Small fixable things but bed clean and comfortable. Not bad for price . Would stay again

Never will be back at this red roof inn in Somerset Kentucky the staff and manger was rude over the phone after I purchased a room through Expedia got there around 11:30 and the lobby doors were locked and lights were off, according to the manager they sleep on the job and have door bell on the door which I tried and they wanted to tell me that I didn’t even get out of the truck which is a lie I told them to look at the cameras and refused to look. They were rude to me and denied my refund after I never even got to step foot in the lobby. I asked for corporates number they refuse to give it to me so they pretty much took my money and denied my stay. I’ll never ever be back and I hope the staff pays for the consequences. Pathetic place and staff

Save the pooch

We had a great experience with the staff. Our dog who is too smart for her own good let herself out of our room while we were at breakfast. The staff noticed and called us to inform us. We returned immediately and were able to locate the pooch shortly after. Very thankful for their attention and fast action.
