Beautiful Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at the Viceroy.  The staff was welcoming from the minute we pulled up to the time we drove away.  Make sure you do your homework as there is a $15.00 valet fee and a $15.00 resort fee which does not reflect when booking.  But if you have read the comments, most everyone mentions it, so it was no surprise to us.  The stove is a little small, only two burners, so if you are cooking for several people it's a little difficult.  The bathroom is beautiful and the bed is extremely comfortable.  If you love soft and fluffy, this is for you. What a great place to stay and the scenery is beautiful.

New hotel with lovely bathrooms

Pros: New hotel. Rooms with a large shower and a soaking tub. Lots of closest space. Rooms have microwave, refrigerator and a safe.  Cons: Sleeping and work areas in the room were rather cramped.  The hotel charged $15/day "summer" resort fee. IMO the hotel doesn't qualify as a summer resort. There is only a tiny outdoor pool and there is not much to do in the area in summer. The public spaces around the hotel are tiny. The hotel offers only valet parking for $15/day. There is, however, a city parking garage at 10 min walking distance where one can park free in the summer.

Gorgeous Place!

The staff at Viceroy was very attentive and we even got upgraded to a 1 bedroom from a studio upon arrival! I'm not sure I could afford the rates in the high winter season, but for Fall it is a nice little luxurious getaway. The town does not have much of anything going on in the slower season, however, there were only 1 or 2 restaurants open I believe and a smaller grocery store. The pool and hottubs were nice, but seemed a little small if the hotel was at full capacity. The room was amazing, with a comfortable living area and double sided fireplace into the bedroom. The kitchen seemed very well-equipped even though we did not use it. The bathroom and shower were amazing as well. Everything was very clean, and the bed was very soft and comfortable. Overall, I'd say it was an amazing experience, especially if you can find a little bit of a deal.

Viceroy beyond my expectations

Viceroy destroyed all of our expectations. The bar has now been set with this hotel for ski in ski out. We stayed in a one bedroom with another couple and had plenty of room. Nice fireplace splitting living room and bedroom. The ski valet is incredible. The concierge was extremely helpful and welcomed us upon our arrival. The pool area was perfect. Waiters serving cold or warm beverages to you in no time Apres Ski. Free shuttle anywhere in Snowmass with minimal to no wait everytime. The ski rentals were all new and boot must have been dried every night to prep for the next day. Dining was also incredible as Eight K's Burger was fantastic. We cannot wait to go back. Truthfully, I cannot say a single bad thing about the hotel, skiing or city.

Amazing Luxury!

My husband and I celebrated an anniversary here for 3 nights in late July. It was an amazingly beautiful getaway. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were very well designed in comfort and style, and the area of Snowmass itself is gorgeous. The restaurants at Viceroy were amazing in both aesthetically beautiful furnishings, as well as delicious food and beverages. There is so much to do outdoors, as well as a great nightlife in Aspen, too. Thanks so much for a wonderful vacation!

WONDERFUL WEEKEND GET AWAY

I stayed at the Viceroy for an long girls weekend. We had such an amazing time, the people, service, and food was perfect. I will definitely be returning later again this year.
