Walmart and restaurants were close which was good but our room door malfunctioned and no one came to help till about 11 hours later

First room did not have the added safety lock. Second room smelled like a wet dog and the bathroom sink was clogged.

This appeared to be an older La Quinta and in need of repairs and major cleaning. Staff very nice and helpful.

I felt it was very clean, nice towels and bedding. Liked the floors and TV good. I was to stay for two days and it was communicated to the staff at check in and when I went back to the room the second day, the code did not work and I had to go back to the front desk which was some distance. That frustrated me.

The facilities were dirty, falling apart and just awful Service was just as bad, I was shocked at the lack of maintenance in the property. There were dirty mattresses laying on the corridors. No wifi

Dear Sofia, I'd like to thank you kindly for taking the time to send in comments regarding your stay here with us. I am saddened to see that your stay was not up to expectations as we strive daily for all of our guest to depart happy with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We are currently upgrading the rooms with vinyl flooring removing all carpet, refurbishing all of the bathtubs and new furniture. I am sorry about the mattresses that is laying the the breeze ways, the removal of big items is only allowed once a week to be picked up and possibly they had not been removed yet. I have looked in our guest log book and did not see anything from you calling the front desk regarding the wifi. We do have it through out the building an if you had reported it to front desk we could of looked in to that issue for you. I do apologize. We want all of our guest to feel like if they are not happy they can contact someone in staff and we will try to fix the issue as our guest come first to us. If you are in the area in the future it would be great for you to give us another opportunity to serve you. Thank you, Assistant Manager
