6/10 Okay

We stayed 3 nights before embarking on a cruise. Nicely restored building in a very convenient location. It was nicely appointed and is walking distance to MRT & Maxwell Center (hawkers’ stalls) making food readily available from morning till late night.
Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the complimentary coffee and snacks in the lobby, nice touch!
Our room 303 had a weird configuration making it feel much smaller. The king size bed was comfortable, however, it was placed on an angle and made it difficult to get through to other side of the room and other side of bed. We had to be very careful not to hit our legs on the bed frame and stumble especially at night.
Bathroom was comfortable but had small space for toiletries. Hairdryer had to be used outside bathroom (no outlet for it) but there is no other mirror in the room making it inconvenient when getting ready. This may not be the case in other rooms.
There is laundry room free to use that was nice to have for longer stays.
Given the above, we still had a nice stay and can recommend except perhaps room 303.
