Room was resort standard. - Booking was an issue. Had to change rooms after 2 days because of poor room management. Was offered comped meal in lieu at attached restaurant. -The restaurant was atrocious. Waited 45 mins for a simple breakfast plate, with no one else in the restaurant. Wait staff offered a free beverage to compensate. The overall interaction, at the front desk and in the restaurant, was subpar. As if we were the problem. Hotel activities were limited to: -a pool, used once. Awkward location at the end of the hotel. -2 hot tubs that were spotty on each day, either the jets weren't operable or the water was luke warm. -Towels were an issue. Supply was short and had to wait each day 20-30 minutes for resupply, at both pickup locations, at varied times. Location on the island was a positive, with relation to water but a negative with relation to everything else. We had a rental. -Parking was limited, compact, and dangerous. -Walking to other attractions was over a steep passage way (hill) without lighting or safeguards. Wil not return nor will we recommend

This is a lovely resort with direct beach access. The room was spacious and clean. Love that there is a sliding partition that separates the queen sized bed from the sofa bed making it feel like two separate spaces and offering privacy. There are large flat screen televisions I front of the bed and sofa bed. Accessibility can be an issue for those with mobility issues. Our room was in building 7 on the theirs floor. You had to take an elevator from the hotel lobby to the first floor and then walk down a corridor and some steps to another elevator and take it to the third floor and then walk down another long corridor. Our room was adjacent to the beach but to access it required doing the long corridor walk and two elevators or walking down a few flights of stairs. To get to the pool was another awkward elevators/walk/stairs situation. The hot tubs jets weren’t working the first day. There are not nearly enough beach lounge chairs as there are people by the pool area. If you want to rent a pool inner tube you have to return it by 3:30 pm which is a tad early. There is only one restaurant on property and it is by the beach (pool is on the other side of the resort). There is a limited lunch menu and food was subpar. Dinner menu was a bit more expansive and the food was delicious. Staff are friendly and the views of the beach/ocean are breathtaking. Overall, the crowd is mostly retired individuals.

The room was spotless and very spacious. Everything worked well, pools were great and beach access wonderful! There are many good restaurants around, all within walking distance. The only issue I had was the restaurant/ bar that is part of the hotel, on the beach. It is a very convenient option, but the food was horrible - worst than any fast food chain - and the management were hostile to any feedback or suggestions.

Absolutely loved our stay at this resort! We had a beach front room right one level 1. Easy access to the restaurant and beach! The staff were all very friendly! Devon at the pelican restaurant! Great beach, small-ish pool area. Limited areas to sit in the lobby and no restroom in the lobby area. Housekeeping came once during a week stay to freshen the room. The kitchen in the studio suites was nice to have, however there was no kettle (just a coffee maker). The hotel is walkable for the most part to restaurants however I think a complimentary shuttle service would be appreciated by many. The Peli Deli food market is close by and had most of the items we needed. Didn’t find it was noisy at all in the room at night. AC worked well during our stay. Latest checkout we could get was 11am; we wished there were at least bathrooms/facilities to freshen up so that we could use the gym or pool while passing time before our flight. Overall a decent stay.

My stay at Hilton Vacation Club Flamingo Beach St. Maarten was absolutely wonderful. The resort is beautifully maintained, the beachfront views are stunning, and the staff made every interaction warm and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated for relaxing by the water. I truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the convenience of having everything I needed right on the property. I would happily return for another stay.
