As a lone and late traveller some refreshments or options would have been nice like mini bar or a bottle of water. Younger staff nice, some really miserable and judgemental. Couldn't get picked up in reception due to someone blocking the barrier, room not cleaned once, I was tired and did say no first day but very late in attempting the next day so not great Hilton sorry! Expensive and average

Nothing to do in the area but it's an airport hotel so that's hardly surprising. The rest of the experience was excellent as usual, I've stayed there a few times now and it always is. Service is not like some other airport hotels where they know you're in and out so don't care much. Recommended for what it is.

Convenient to the airport was a plus. Room was ok, but AC / Ventilation was very very very noisy so absolutely zero sleep for a 3 am wake up - listen to the video I took. Restaurant food average, expensive and wine complete rip off at £30 for a £7 Pinot Grigio bottle of wine. Was it worth over £110 room only - not in a million years. Will be raising a formal complaint as the noise was unacceptable.
Listen to the noise we had to put up with all night and with no AC on !

Good airport hotel

I always stay here when travelling from Newcastle. The rooms are spacious, quiet and clean, the bed is firm but fairly comfortable. Good overall, but lighting in the room is poor and breakfast could be better. Good fresh fruit and muesli would have been a standard expectation, but only small packets of gluten free was available when asked.

Lovely place but £5.50 for a single Baileys which had about 2 small mouthfulls in it is an absolute rip off even the other guests were shocked it was only one staff member that was dishing them out tho all the rest used the single pour measure oldish lass black blouse on serving evening time on the 25th September - I’m due to stay again on the 10th October and I’m curious to see if anything has been rectified when it comes to weights and measures law
