We had booked a double room but there was none left when we arrived. We were given a wheelchair user room. The problem for us was that the sink was low, the toilet high and the wet room shower had special aid equipment in which made it awkward for a standing person to shower around. We prefer to lower a toilet lid to stop droplets being in the air around our toothbrush. The disabled toilet did not have a lid

The extension room for the bar was really cold, when guests asked the staff about putting the fire on the reply was 'no the fire isnt on today. Some of the staff werent very customer friendly.

The room itself was very tired looking and could definitely do with a bit of upgrade, the shower was hot but leaked all over the bathroom floor, however for the money paid it served a purpose

However, the air con was very noisy, the room was pitch black and there were no dim lights meaning if you need the bathroom during the night you wake up your other half, theres no socket next to the bed for using your mobile as an clock or torch yo save putting the light on

The welcome and room was fantastic such comfy cosy room. The coffee wasn’t great at breakfast but the food was fab. The meal in the restaurant the night before was amazing thank you!

Have stayed here a few times ideal for early morning flights. The hotel clean with good bar & restaurant facilities . However on this occasion we were woken at 3.30am by a very noisy delivery person who was unloading a delivery below her window.This went on for 45mins throwing empty trays to the ground . I mentioned this to reception on leaving all I got was a sorry … as we where doing a long haul flight we needed a good nights sleep .
