The kitchen was amazing! Had everything and more that we could need! Everyone hung out in the kitchen. It was the "hub".
All generations were very happy and enjoyed being able to stay together. We had 5 generations in the house from 91 yrs old to 7 months!

Nothing less than FANTASTIC!

There are no words to describe the wonderfulness of this place...comfy beds, lots of room, fully stocked with everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again!

Amazing!!!

The house was a perfect amount of space for my siblings and our spouses. I loved the touches of detail like a bit of laundry detergent, dish soap, body soaps, and lotions since we weren’t staying long and didn’t want to purchase or bring everything with us. It was a quaint area with peaceful atmosphere to wake up to. If we needed anything or had any concerns, they responded quickly!

Great Space

Nice big home with lots of space for friends and family. The property manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The 11 of us all had a great experience.

Great place to stay, plenty of room for our family and for parking. Love the views of the barn and countryside. Close to the city and to restaurants/stores while also away from major traffic.

We had such a wonderful stay and this property is fabulous! The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you could imagine you need.this home provides everything our family wanted for our visit.The home is kept incredibly clean and is simply beautiful. This home is set on a property. That is absolutely beautiful surrounded by magnificent scenery, and a beautiful little barn behind.Communication was awesome with our host.. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

This was a great place for a family!

We are a large family with children from 1 to adult. This place had everything we needed or could possibly need. It was all labeled so well too! Our stay here was incredibly peaceful, the kids loved feeding the chickens, and the fresh eggs and homemade bread were lovely. We stay somewhere new around the country every year. This is by far our favorite place. You will love it.

KC Getaway

Excellent property in very relaxing surroundings. Spent 4 days in and around KC and the local area using this place as a central location. Very clean and extremely well equipped house. Everything as advertised, and more. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

Very "country feel" location

We loved our stay here! We had our 8 young kids with us and they loved the area. It was fun for them to explore the yard, feed the chickens, watch the sheep, look for bugs and frogs, and eat outside on the deck. The house was really clean and well stocked. It is beautiful inside and out. The beds were very comfortable. It is a fun and scenic drive to get to the house and my kids loved to roller coaster feel of the road getting here.

Solo Deo Spring Retreat

This was our second retreat at this beautiful home and property. It has lovely common areas with good seating for gathering around the table for food and games or in the living room for conversation. The kitchen is well stocked with fun extras. It’s a fun walk down the driveway to look at the livestock.

Beautiful Country Home

The house was perfect for all of us! We had 6 adults and 2 children. They loved feeding the chickens & seeing all the animals. They views were amazing and the home had everything you could need.

Perfect for families!

I am from KC and visit frequently and I feel very relieved to have found this place. Will definitely book again. It was noticeably cleaned by professionals and as a mom of little ones I sincerely appreciated not having to do any extra cleaning before we had dinner and did our nighttime routine. Thank you again for a great stay!

Beautiful stay

First off, the bed were amazing! We are on a cross country road trip and so far these have been the only beds I have been able to sleep in. They are extremely comfortable. The house was spotless, the kitchen and bathrooms well stocked, they had farm fresh eggs in the fridge and fresh bread on the counter! There was a bag of food to feed the chickens, which my kids loved! We loved this house!

The kitchen was great! Thanks for labeling so it was easy to find what we were looking for. We were going to start a fire but the starter was broken and we couldn’t find matches but that was ok. Just thought you should know.The grill and outdoor griddle were clean and we enjoyed using them.

Awesome for our Ladies Retreat

Lovely gathering spaces. Beautifully decorated. Well stocked kitchen. The bunk beds are kid friendly but not so suitable for adult sleepers. Great country landscape. The complimentary homemade bread and farm fresh eggs were a delicious, gracious surprise. The host was responsive to our questions and needs.

Perfect getaway!

Very clean, spacious and well stocked home. The grand-kids loved the goats, baby calf and feeding the chickens. We also did the barn tour which was a lot of fun. Very nice owners. Plenty of beds and bathrooms, easy to use TVs, 2 grills, fire-pit.. everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. A little far from restaurants but we made a day full of activities in neighboring towns... Blue Springs, Buckner and Independence. Hope to stay here again next summer!

Great family rental

We had a college friends reunion with 6 adults and 10 kids 6 and under. We felt so at home, plenty of kid friendly plates, cups, etc. in the kitchen, books, and baby gates at the top of both sets of stairs. Two living areas made it nice for kids to play and adult conversation. Quiet location and the animals on the property were super fun as well. Some special homestead touches were left for us as well. Didn’t hear the person staying downstairs the time a car was there. Would definitely stay here again!
