This is a very nice updated property. I wish it had a blow dryer and decaf coffee though. Awesome full sized fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Short walk to Safeway, so you can get whatever you need and bring it back. Also right next to Denny's. Will stay again.

I went to check out 30 minutes early but no staff in the office I have to look and ask around couldn't find a reception. When I come back he in the office and try to charge me for checking out late at 11 am

First of all, the hotel is tucked back from the roadway and was difficult to find. The hotel clerk was friendly and helpful but the hotel itself is very run down. Transients were hanging out in the parking lot and I believe there was some sort of drug addiction recovery housing happening in several of the rooms. The interior of the room was very basic but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Worried about my vehicle being broken into overnight but it didn’t happen. In summary, staff good…hotel bad. It’s worth it to pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

Pleasant stay and a good value

The reasonable rates were the deciding factor in choosing to stay here rather than 14 minutes closer to where we needed to be the next day. Some might find the rooms a bit clinical in their feel, but all we needed was a clean and comfortable room and a good night's rest, and the hotel delivered on all that. We also weren't kept awake by any outside freeway noise. I can't speak to how much noise might otherwise get through the walls and ceiling, since I don't think there was anyone in adjoining rooms (ours was the only car parked at the back side). The large refrigerator was a pleasant detail, as the mini fridges that are more common are a sometimes little too small. The desk clerk was very friendly and reassured me that my vehicle would be safe overnight, and that he keeps a close eye on the camera feeds that cover the parking lot. We also didn't see any vagrants near the hotel, and it felt relatively safe.

After booking thru Expedia, I paid the deposit at check in, and then was called by the front desk and was told that I never paid the deposit and was asked to come back to the front desk to pay it. Stating that what I paid for was the room rate, not the deposit. Which wouldn’t make sense anyway, because I would have to pay both to get the room key. But I already paid for the rate thru Expedia. Therefore all that was needed from me was the deposit, which I paid. And I told them that, and the guy said ok.. and that was that. Now I’m afraid I won’t get my deposit back.

Most of the other people staying here helped me out quite a bit and the dryer was broken meaning we had to go to a laundromat to wash and dry our clothes and that was easily $20 if not more not good laundry service at all.
