While we were there, renovations were taking place, which no one warned us about. There were sheets of playwood and boards lying on the floor right in front of the entrance the entire time we were there. Workers were installing a new roof, and at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, we were awakened by the sound of hammers. Words cannot describe our outrage, as we wanted to get away from the city noise for our anniversary and simply enjoy the sound of the waves and nature …
1. Dog hair all over the floor and on the sofa.
2. White drywall dust on the floor in various places, probably from removing light fixtures from the ceiling.
3. One light fixture is hanging directly above the stove, revealing a hole leading to the attic.
4. A strong dog odor, which caused my wife to have an allergic reaction.
5. And the most unpleasant thing is that all the bedding on the bed is covered in the same white drywall dust. ((((
We stayed at this place a few years ago, in a different room, and everything was great, but this time, unfortunately, all these problems significantly spoiled our stay here, we're very disappointed .
When I asked why there was no notice of renovation work, I was told that the problem arose unexpectedly. They simply lied to me. They suggested that I go somewhere while the maintenance staff came and cleaned, and this was on the only full day I was there. Moreover, there was no closet in the room where we could put our things. Terrible.
