"A family of six adults enjoyed a weeklong stay on Lake Sargent, with easy access to the water and plenty of chairs for relaxing on the beach or around the bonfire. The house came with a couple of paddleboards and a kayak that were used daily. The deck, equipped with a table, chairs, and an umbrella, was perfect for dining outdoors and playing card games. The host was very responsive, even checking in mid-week to see how things were going and if anything was needed. Conveniently located, the house was about 17 minutes from supermarkets, restaurants, and Gunstock. Jordan’s Ice Cream Shop, located nearby, is highly recommended."

"This was a great spot for a family with young kids. Easy to let the kids wade out in the water without feeling unsafe. Like others have said, this property looks better in real life than the in the pictures. There is a bunk room, queen, and bathroom upstairs. There was another queen, the room with the two beds, and the tub bathroom downstairs. I loved that there wasn’t much of anything that my kids (2 and 4) could get into and break in the house. We loved taking the canoe out and getting ice cream in the evening near by. This is not a vacation town. There really is not much of anything to do within at least twenty minutes of this property. Ice cream. And that’s about it for kids. So keep that mind. You will be entertaining the kids. Thankful for the two TVs on the property. The nearest real grocery store is twenty minutes away. We did fish quite a bit. Caught a lot of sun fish and yellow perch. Snag city so plan your lures accordingly. We did not. All in all, we had a great time. The weather was perfect. The house was clean. The water was great for the kids."

"I rent this property so I could go up and fish shellcamp lake. I did bring my boat in. There was a dock for me to leave it at. I did end up pulling my boat every night just because I needed to charge the trolling motor, which was still very easy because the boat launch was no more than 1000 feet down the street.Great little spot everything was nice uncomfortable no complaints whatsoever. Communication was also very good."

"The house was exactly as advertised. It was an easy check in. Great communication with the host. Everything was very clean. You can't beat the view from the amazing deck and the privacy of your own little beach area! I loved that it is a pet friendly place. It was a bonus that you can walk all the way around the lake! My dog loved walking around the lake and swimming! I can't wait for the opportunity to go back!"
