This older motel is badly in need of a complete renovation. The facilities were barely adequate with the shower, toilet and bathroom door needing service and repair. The staff was attentive, and the breakfast was very good. My favorite part was the warm baked goods with which we were treated daily!

Decent place. Staff wasn’t there for 20 minutes when we tried to check in. Bathroom floor was dirty. Bed was decent. Kitchen area was clean and good breakfast choices. Staff was pleasant when present. Price was good.

Disappointed in Kirksville.

I was checked into a long/suite, but once in my room realized that while there was a desk/work space, there was no chair. Also, the tv remote did not work. Went back to front desk and the attendant simply changed me to a different room, so I had to go back upstairs and relocate my belongings. Once in the new room, I discovered the tv remote here didn’t work well either. It worked well enough, when aimed just right, that I decided to just keep it. When it was time to shower, the shower curtain was not fitted very well and was difficult to keep water from making mess on bathroom floor. Also , I was there for 3 nights and had to go back to office each day to get key- cards recoded… it had lost the code each day. Overall , this stay was a little disappointing.
