Our family absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived, Amy was an incredible host. She was responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. The home itself is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for families. There was more than enough room for all of us to spread out, relax, and actually enjoy being together. Every morning and evening, the horses, donkeys, and cows would come visit the fence, and that quickly became one of our favorite parts of the trip. Watching the kids feed and interact with them made memories we’ll never forget. It rained and stormed for a good portion of our stay, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the experience at all. If anything, it forced us to slow down and appreciate the peaceful setting even more. The location is also fantastic. Seneca is a great little town with a lot of small-town charm. We really enjoyed walking around Ram Cat Alley, checking out the locally owned shops, restaurants, and everything the downtown area has to offer. There is also so much to explore nearby, from Lake Keowee and the surrounding countryside to beautiful waterfalls and scenic drives throughout the area. You can spend the day exploring and still come back to the house in the evening and feel completely removed from the hustle and bustle. After spending the last year and a half overseas for work, this was exactly what my family and I needed. Being able to unplug, spend much-needed quality time with my wife and our three kids, grill together, swim, visit the animals, explore the area, and simply enjoy each other’s company was priceless.Sometimes the best vacations aren’t about packing every day full of activities. Sometimes they’re about finally having the chance to slow down, look around, and appreciate the people you’re with.If you’re looking for a peaceful family getaway with plenty of room, beautiful countryside, friendly animals, and a great little town nearby, I can’t recommend this place enough. Five stars without hesitation. We will absolutely be staying here again.Thank you Amy, for helping make this such a special and much-needed week for our family.
