The host was wonderful, really helpful, booking a restaurant for us, and checking that we had what we needed. The kitchen is fine but is a galley and cramped for more than two people at a time. Facilities there are OK and all the basics are there. House was clean and well equipped and the beds were comfortable

Een droom van een huis, klassiek Frans ingericht. Het ademt historie en gezelligheid. Het huis wordt duidelijk veel gebruikt want is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht vanuit de kamers en het terras is fenomenaal, de tuin schitterend met alles wat die voortbrengt (heerlijke zoete pruimen en cherry tomaatjes, verse kruiden om mee te koken. De rivier is heerlijk om in te zwemmen, kajakken en vissen. De omgeving leent zich goed voor wandelingen. In het dorpje zelf is niet veel te beleven maar in de omgeving des te meer. De golfbaan du Baugé is heel mooi: echt een aanrader. Het ontvangst en contact met de eigenaars was heel erg fijn. We zouden graag nog eens terugkomen.

Wonderful stay at a charming property

We just had an amazing stay at this beautiful home at the end of June. We chose the property above others primarily based on the excellent reviews, which were spot on. The stately home and grounds were the perfect balance between old new. Lots of character in the architecture and decor with all of the modern updates in the kitchen and baths. We appreciated how well supplied the house was with all of the "extras" that are often overlooked (plenty of soaps/detergents, paper towels, toilet paper, hair dryers, condiments for cooking, even a pot of fresh herbs in the kitchen!). Also, fans for each room were available to combat the unexpected heat wave. Communication with our hosts, mostly Nathalie, was outstanding before, during and after our stay. Our only regret was that we did not get to meet them in person due to our late hour arrival. Our family of 4 stayed for the entire week and we hosted friends for a few days during the week. We used the home as a home base to explore this area of the Loire with short drives to Angers, Samur and lots of quaint villages in between. We also enjoyed some days visiting with friends on the shady grounds of the garden or on the veranda over looking the river. The village is small but we walked to the boulangerie daily, visited the farmers market on Thursday and my son enjoyed the scenery on his 10-14 km daily runs along the banks of the river. Absolutely would stay here again. Merci Nathalie and Mathieu!

The home, the owner, the place; Everything was PERFECT!

Everything about this home and our visit to Seiches sur Le Loir was “magnifique.” This was absolutely my best most enjoyable stay in France. Nathalie was the most gracious host and her home was beautiful. There wasn’t anything that wasn’t immediately attended to, however insignificant. My friends and family can’t wait to return. Thank you

Excellent property in great location

Well equipped kitchen and garden games. Loved using the kayaks on the river. Sitting room spaces are very comfortable. Enjoyed eating and sitting on the terrace. Bed’s excellent but did need the provided fans on the hot nights. Location is great with lots to see within easy driving distance. Couple of lovely restaurants within a 10 minute drive.

Fabulous house in perfect location

House is beautiful in the most stunning location on the river. Hosts were excellent and house had everything you could need. We had older teens & uni age children with us, so spent a lot of time kayaking, swimming and cycling local cycle routes. Great day trips to chateaux, wine tasting and Puy de Fou too. Delicious boulangerie for morning croissants and Super-U nearby. Would love to come back sometime!

Spacieuse résidence d’antan, méticuleusement et magnifiquement décorée et entretenue. Chaque pièce est lumineuse, chaleureuse et confortable. Nous sommes émerveillés par le niveau de soin et d’attention des propriétaires pour leurs hôtes. Nous tenons à exprimer notre sincère gratitude pour leur générosité en partageant cet espace unique avec nous. C’est une occasion rare et précieuse de savourer avec sa famille et ses amis une pause réconfortante et inoubliable. Les plus : La vue sur le magnifique jardin bordé par Le Loir, pas de vis-à-vis, une cheminée ouverte fonctionnelle, un piano accordé en bon état, parking privé pour 5 voitures, les lits faits avant votre arrivée. La réactivité du propriétaire à toute demande 24h/24. Les commerces de qualité sur place : boulangeries, boucheries, pharmacie. Rien ne manque. Les moins : rien trouvé.

A beautiful house with a magnificent garden in a idyllic riverside setting

We truly fell in love with this beautiful property, and didn't want to leave! We were a family of two adults, with a 12 year old and a 9 year old. We loved the generous room sizes and the lovely, open way the dining space, sitting room, library and further sitting room all connected together. The long terrace where we ate all our meals has a stunning view over the large garden and river below, and afforded many sunsets. The property was spotless, well-equipped and thoughtfully arranged throughout, and cooking was a pleasure on the large stove top. Natalie and her husband Matthew were charming and helpful with our check-in process, and also took trouble to make sure there were bikes of the right sizes for all of us. We can totally recommend the additional outlay of hiring the kayaks and bikes for the week, there were some very pleasant rides, with not too many hills, and the kayaks were brilliant. The children particularly loved being able to kayak to a delightful riverside restaurant 100m downstream to have an after dinner ice-cream under the trees festooned with coloured lights. Daily river swimming was another highlight. Overall one of our favourite holiday rentals so far, and we'd love to come back!

Erg fijn, ruim en luxe landhuis!

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad met ons gezin met 5 kinderen. . De ruimte voor een ieder was heerlijk en het feit dat je vanaf huis kon wandelen, kanoën en zwemmen was een enorme luxe. De keuken is fantastisch ingericht met voor een chef kok alles wat je nodig zou kunnen heheh. Het buiten koken was een geweldige vrije ervaring met uitzicht op de Loir. Dank Matthieu en Nathalie voor jullie enorm hartelijke ontvangst. We komen graag een keer terug.

Delightful holiday property

Treyves sur Loir is as delightful a place in reality as the photographs suggest. A real family home with history, fabulous views, and a delightful garden. The family hugely enjoyed kayaking on Le Loir (bicycles were available too). Mathieu and Nathalie were charming hosts, and really did make us feel that nothing was too much trouble. A good location for exploring the Loire valley and the surrounding countryside – probably our favourite part of France. All in all, highly recommended!

Very wonderful and charming property

Very private, wonderful grounds and garden, the Hosts were extremely communicative and responsive. So much fun to swim in the river, kayak, explore the nearby activities. We also very much appreciated the nearby Restaurant for the snacking and beverages, it was a nice way to spend the evening enjoying the outdoors, music and beauty of France. Wonderful experience

We had a marvelous time at this property. It is a lovely spacious home with wonderful outdoor garden and terrace space. Close to a small village, bakeries, restaurants a short walk from the house. Séjour familial dans cette grande maison

Nous avons apprécié cette grande maison, pour notre rassemblement familial. Les nombreux salons chaleureux pour les discussions, la cuisine très fonctionnelle, la grande terrasse pour les apéros du soir et les repas avec vue sur le Loir, les grandes chambres pour se reposer après les promenades de la journée et les nombreuses salles d'eau permettant que tout le monde soit prêt rapidement. Sans oublier les contacts avec les propriétaires avant notre arrivée afin de tout mettre au point et l'accueil de Marilyne, disponible et discrète en même temps. Bref tout était au top.

Propriété de charme,ayant une âme, très bien équipée .Accueil chaleureux et personnalisé. Commerces locaux , marché, accessibles à pied. La situation sur le Loir, miroir au coucher du soleil,participe au plaisir du sejour. Nous avons bénéficié d’un climat très agréable ce qui nous a permis de profiter du jardin et de la terrasse( seul bémol en ce tout début de saison après une période de mauvais temps ,la terrasse et le jardin auraient pu être plus soignés).
