Wonderful family getaway

We had an ocean view room with nice accommodations. We fished on-site and ate at the on-site restaurants. The service and staff were delightful and the grounds were beautiful. Highly recommend this location for families and those wanting to relax and get away.

Truly nothing remarkable about this resort. The pool is nice and food was decent, but that does not make up for the rest of the resort being so rundown and just dirty. The room we stayed in felt like a motel (honestly I’ve even stayed in nicer motels). We were hoping to find a local spot for weekend getaways but will be looking elsewhere for sure.

The staff, location, and accommodations were excellent! My only suggestion is to have a bit more attention to the restrooms by the pool. While they were not terrible a bit more frequent touch up would make it more comfortable.

The wait staff was amazing. Especially Kelly in Seaglass. Everyone was so nice. Better than any Marriott. The only reason for the 4 star is the billing. I was charged the wrong rate & then realized my deposit wasn’t included. They charged me $2400 that should have been $1300. My advice would be to check your bill.

The expensive and disappointing stay at the Omni

At check in we were given a so called upgrade to a room on the 2nd floor in front of pool ridiculously noisy and as we noticed a horrible smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. Maintenance came and said sink& toilet have sewage back up. They worked on it and the entire suite smelled. Eventually we were sent to a different room. This was after we unpacked, so we packed up again and went to 469. Unpacked again and wanted to sleep, that wasn’t happening due to the drunk loud neighbors in 469. We received a charcuterie box as an apology. The room was flighty, our socks were black. Empty tequila in the elevator, noise all night the night before we left. The staff were very cordial and nice. The facility needs to be closed, cleaned and updated before anyone stays there.

The property is very pretty and there are many restaurants and shops close by making it very convenient. The staff is by far the best, which is largely why we keep coming back!

The front desk service was not good. The rooms are dated and ours smelled like a locker room and the smell and taste of the tap water was disgustjng. Breakfast was great in florabelle. Pool was nice but very warm. Trams to restaurants was great. Restaurants pretty good but very expensive. Steak out was great. Watch for hidden costs like resort fees and taxes and parking. He turned out to be around $100 more a night. 6/10
