Clean, comfortable stay in super convenient location
This was a great stay for our family -- my husband and me, our kids, their spouses, and our two toddler grandchildren. Matthew and Jean were terrific hosts. Before we arrived, Matthew arranged for two Pack 'n' Play travel cots for the grandkids, including new mattress covers, sheets, pillows and pillowcases. Everything was nicely arranged when we arrived.
The kitchen is well equipped, with great cookware and plenty of cutlery, plates and glasses. We were able to cook full meals very easily. There's a water filter under the sink, so you can fill the kettle and cooking pots with filtered water with no trouble.
The beds were good, with plenty of linens and towels, all in good condition. Lots of pillows and blankets as well.
The view from the main room of the house -- kitchen, dining and living rooms -- is spectacular. You get to watch the sunrise over the stunning Sedona mountains, and sunset is lovely as well. The location is also excellent for access to various coffee shops, tourist shops and restaurants. And we loved our early morning walks to the Jim Thompson trail system.
Matthew was great with answering our questions very quickly, and when we had a couple of small issues, he and Jean came over immediately to take care of them. Jean gave us some nice tips about where to hike and see the night sky as well. Really friendly hosts who want to make sure you have everything you need for your holiday.
