Nestled on a private wooded lot - mid island, close to the crabbing dock and kayak launch. Simple living all on one floor! The open floor plan is terrific and gives the home a wonderful, spacious flow from room to room. Enter and be captivated by the soaring ceilings and sky lights. Lovely wood floors and ceiling fan give an instant homey feel. Comfortable furniture centered around the fireplace (decorative only) welcome you to gather with your family and plan out the day. The kitchen has an open pass through with stools on the living room side. Stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and tile floor are ready to be tested by the most discerning of chefs. The back of the house is the open living area where large French doors and windows immerse you into the natural flora just outside your doors. The dining area of this room has a table for six. Both the family room and dining room give you access to the outside deck. Hang out in the family room and watch the large 65"Smart TV. Just off the dining area, you can head through French doors onto the screened in porch. Sit under the ceiling fan and watch for the nightly deer feeding in your backyard. Or curl up in the chair with a good book. Access the outside deck from the screen porch. A gas grill is available to you.

This home has three bedrooms. The master bedroom is an en-suite with king bed. Tall ceilings make this room feel larger. The master bath has a granite topped vanity and shower/tub combo. Both guest rooms have queen beds and ceiling fans. The guest bedrooms share access to the hall bath with its granite topped vanity and large walk-in tiled shower. Amenity Cards are required to use the Seabrook Island Club and SIPOA Lake House facilities. This property includes access to the Club amenities: the Beach Club oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities except outdoor pool usage. The Club Amenity Card also allows access to the Lake House facilities (outdoor pool/no fees; indoor pool/fitness center/fees apply). Cancellation Policy: If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you receive your funds back, minus $250. If you cancel with less than 30 days prior to your arrival date, you loose your funds. If we are able to rent it, you receive what we can rent it for, minus the $250. For monthly winter rentals the policy is as follows: For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest under the terms of the Rental Agreement.

The house is beautiful, bright, and spacious.As you can see from the photos, the main space is somewhat divided into two rooms. The furniture is arranged to maximize separate spaces where guests can enjoy private conversations, play games, dine, watch tv or comfortably spend time on the internet, and - this may be very important - there is open space for children to play.The kitchen is a wide U shape. There is plenty of room to allow multiple people to work separately at the same time. The kitchen has lots of very well organized utensils, cutlery, plates, glasses, etc.The bedrooms are well furnished and have open space so you can move around.Generally, this is a winner. Almost.If you are a person who needs to be extra careful to avoid tripping, there are a few concerns.- The flooring in every room is uneven. I found it easy to remember to watch my step whenever I changed rooms. - The front steps - which have been walked & rained on for a long time do slope. I kept a tight grip on the handrail.- The garage has one door into the kitchen and a screen door at the top of the stairs. The screen door opens out over the stairs. I opened that door, fixed the sliding mechanism so it remained permanently open while I stayed there.I did contact the property management company about these concerns. The GM came out in less than an hour later. She took careful notes and told me she was going to discuss this with the owners.Hopefully these concerns are being addressed.

Great location...easy bike ride to both the beach and the crab dock. Quick golf cart ride up to Bohicket and Freshfields.
