House in a good location. The host was receptive and responsive. There were numerous problems including: poor maintenance (cabinet door next to dishwasher was not attached at top hing so it interfered with opening and closing the dishwasher, the HVAC system died and was not fixed (we were given space heaters during a cold spell but had no effective way to cool the house during the hot spell), there were spider webs on the wall in the master bathroom, 2 of rhe under the cabinet lights flickered brightly giving the effect of strobe lights (the cabinet door and strobe lights were fixed after a week), The walls were dusty. The fans in the bathrooms were filthy. The dishwasher smelled like fish. The bathtub didn’t drain properly ( the host did quickly provide drano that fixed this problem), the bathtub was dangerous because it was like standing on melting ice. The only flat place in the tub was an 8” section in the center. The rest of the floor was sloping toward the center. We put a towel on the bathtub floor to slice the problem. The appliances were top notch. The kitchen had been redesigned with quartz countertops, new cabinets…attractive. There was numerous equipment for young children: high chair, games, floating toys for the pool, story books. The rug in the living room had several large stains. The furniture was strong and durable. The mattress in the master bedroom was comfortable…felt new. The master bedroom was spacious and comfortable.
