It’s listed as a resort hotel but truthfully it is a normal motel/hotel. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the facilities but resort gives the idea of a lush all-inclusive vacation spot. The rooms are simple, well kept and nice enough but not a true resort-style room. The staff were friendly and helpful. So it was a nice hotel to stay at in Sarasota but not a resort.

The shower was hot but had terrible pressure. Also, it was a walk in shower with nowhere to put our shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. - no ledge or anything. A $5 shower caddy would have made all the difference. We were forced to put everything on the floor. Receptionist was friendly.

The second floor room we had had a nice view and balcony. The ceiling was extra high. The room had a couch. No bathtub but a nice shower. there was a nice bar on the property. We would stay there again.

HANDI-CAP GRAB BARS IN THE SHOWER. ASKED FOR A HANDI-CAP ROOM BUT NO GRAB BARS IN THE SHOWER. ROOM CLEAN, MATTRESS DID NOT FIT THE BOX SPRING. KEPT BUMPING THE CORNERS OF THE BOX SPRING. HAD TO GUESS HOW TO ADJUST THE AC UNIT.

Best motel I've stayed in. Super clean. Felt safe despite it not being the best area and no impediments to area entry. Rain prevented pool experience. I don't drink but if I did the Tiki Bar seemed amazing. Invite me back at a discount and I will consider 5 stars.
