High prices but not worth it. Employees are great and go above and beyond but the hotel is a rip off. It’s really a 3 star hotel pretending to be a 5 star hotel. I was going to let it go until I saw employees putting water from the sink in the expresso machine in the dining area. Really?! I would never come back. Shower - water leaked all over bathroom when taking a shower Breakfast - not good Lunch - Terrible but cost R240 Diner - Food options very limited Area - Jardims is a good area but this hotel is situated in a dead zone. No restaurants, shops or anything nearby. Hotel ends at a dead end street

During my 5 day visit in the Brazil, the hotel is the only place that charged me in Brazilian Reals with a ridiculous conversion fee of 12.3% to US Dollars, which neither the hotel, nor the Expedia staff helped to resolve. No other restaurant, bar, or any place in Brazil charged such conversion fee, but the hotel. Pay in advance through Expedia, or else you are ripped.
