Just returned from my trip to Santo Domingo. While the hotel was in a good location, and the staff was friendly and showed great attitude, the hotel fell short from expectations. The shower did not have warm water, the internet was spotty/disconnected constinously and the TV service was not good. The furniture was also dated. The shower feedback was mentioned to the staff and no follow up mas made to correct it.
