"The staff was very helpful in providing a room before the usual 4:00PM check-in time. We were able to get situated, freshen up, rest and get ready for the Padres vs Dodgers game. The room was very clean, brought up to date and extremely comfortable. I love the fitness and yoga rooms. The location of Hotel Sofia is perfect; a nice equidistant walk to Little Italy, Gaslamp and the water."

"Staff was welcoming and friendly. There were parking spots directly outside of our room, and the beach was only 30 yards from our hotel door. It was a fun place, and we played mini golf twice and rented bikes to ride through the property! My kids loved swimming in all the pools and lounging on the beach. Great family fun and it was close enough that we could drive 5 minutes out to the grocery store and grab food for the hotel."
