This is a really interesting and fun place to stay. Historic and vibey. Was there with my 7 yo, so the pool was fun. Also cool across the street is an old school steak house called Shaws, and a place called the Pantry for breakfast. For the price it was great ! little rough around some edges. but if your cool with that for all the other charms its cool.

The staff was unreal! Ive never encountered such pleasant and kind staff. I felt so welcomed upon arrival. My autistic toddler wanted a plastic easter egg on the counter and they had no issues letting him have one.....or two lol. They explained di ing options in the area and things to go see. Hotel was so peaceful and i will definitely be bringing my family back. Thank you for such an amazing 3 days!

This is a wonderful hotel with over 100 years of history. Although the building is a bit old, the rooms are very clean and well-maintained. The staff are incredibly patient, friendly, and always willing to help. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place with character and great hospitality!

Very nice stay

I enjoyed the features of the olden style and how they kept it up. I wish they had told us history about the ghosts though. Other than that it was really nice and quiet. There is also a pool to enjoy we didn’t get the chance to use it but it is there. The additional parking garage in the back was awesome!

Excellent except for …

Very very good . . . but - Honesty is the best policy - the staff were so friendly and gracious (Jimmy) that I hate to say anything negative but - the lobby had an unpleasant odor. Smelled like urine. That smell was also present at the restaurant. No problem on our fifth floor room. Great parking. Very spacious room. Nice shower. Comfortable beds. Nice tv. Everything was great except for the unpleasant odor. However everything else was so good that I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends!
