Would not stay here again.

This place had such mixed reviews it was hard to know what to expect. I had higher hopes, but was disappointed. The outside of the motel is unique and kinda cute, despite sharing a parking lot with some pretty low budge apartments. Once inside, it was pretty bad. There was a very powerful odor that smelled musky and moldy, the in room “jetted tub” was gross and we ended up not wanting to use it. The waiver mentioned bed bugs and I became completely concerned. We did not see any bugs but my imagination left me itching and paranoid which made it hard to sleep. The floor had a weird film on it so I didn’t walk barefoot on the floor. The toilet barely could flush, requiring a few flushes before a small amount of toilet paper would go down. Very dingy kitchenette and bathroom. Lots of damage on walls, doors, moldings. Overall just felt dingy and ran down. Very overpriced. I think the person above us lives there full time. Overall very dissatisfied. Would not waste money there again!!!

The office was closed when we arrive. I didn’t know the office opens at check in time. Even though I answered their message on text from them what time we would arrive. They didn’t answer the phone even. The room was clean and bed was comfy. The only problem I had was the sheet had unknown substance on it. I asked for it to be changed and the housekeeper did that for me even though the initial response was they only change out towels. The jacuzzi was great. I would stay there again.

Okay stay

The location is very nice & the room was cozy. We have dust allergy & so booked this motel because it said ‘daily housekeeping’ but even after 2 days of stay, when they hadn’t come out to clean, I sooke to the housekeeping staff & they argued saying thst they will only take out trash & nothing else. The next day I complained to the front desk after which they came out & cleaned just one time. 1 cleanining for a week’s stay inspite of paying $182/night. Pay attention to $ when you are signing as they try to hussle u with extra $ charges. The breakfast is very poor. No fruits or yogurt. Twice, there was fungus in the croissant. Most items are gone by 8:30am and they don’t refill although it says breakfast is till 10:30am. The last day of our stay they pretty much did not have breakfast at all except a little bit of cereal & coffee. There are unleashed dogs & stray cats on the property all the time, so not safe for kids. There was a pitbull roaming around during our stay peeing & pooping everywhere with no clean up afterwards. There is no ocean view and the beach is 20 mins walk. I would not recommend this place at all.

There are long term residents living here - it’s that type of place. It’s musty and moldy smelling in the rooms. It’s nothing like the pictures. There are no fire places.

The property looked nice, however, the bedding was stained, the room smelled like mildew after the first shower, there was no service to the room, we had to collect the dirty towels take them to the front desk to get new towels. The walls were paper thin with a group of guys yelling all night on one side of us and music blasting on the other side of us. We left in the middle of the night so we could get some sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa del Sol, a boutique-like small motel. It was our first time there. The staff was responsive to our needs and provided a quiet, charming environment. We look forward to our next visit!

Not worth the cost. Room was clean but very outdated and old / musty smelling. Parking very tight and no reserved spots was frustrating. Too many options around to not stay here again. Also WiFi is not good and could not stream on iPad at all.
