Great location BUT Cockroach's
The set up of the rooms and quick walk to the beach was very nice. Loved the fact that beach chairs and umbrella's were provided. The pool looked nice as well.
However we had A LOT of COCKROACHS in the unit.

Perfect Island Getaway
This was a great place for a getaway. Just a short walk from the beach and the condo was cozy. The coffee pot was looking a little rough so we mentioned it to the office staff and they brought a new one out with no question at all. It's nice there are bikes right there to rent. We enjoyed riding on two occasions. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place with short walk to beach
The layout of the room was a bit strange but made since during the stay. The pocket doors made it super easy to block off the main bedroom from the sleeper sofa family room and easily share the bathroom without disturbing each other's sleep. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Beach chairs were provided which was a blessing. The daily towel service exchange was awesome. The beach here was not crowded at all (which we loved) plenty of spacing from each other. It was more crowded about a mile to either side as the light house park public beach and resorts were on either side, but not close or crowded at all to the beach front here. Speaking of the light house, this location is close enough to walk there as we did every day. I would definitely go back.

The apartment was clean and close to the beach. It was a nice family friendly location. However, the kitchen faucet did not work well and the toilet sink did not drain well. The dishwasher also stopped working properly a day after we arrived. Other than that, we had a good stay.

Condo as advertised, with a few issues experienced
My wife, school age twin daughters, and I were looking for a winter getaway with access to one of the great shelling beaches of the world. We settled on this place after looking at several alternatives.
The description of the place is accurate -- it does accommodate four, with a king bed and a somewhat uncomfortable queen sleeper sofa. It is indeed a short walk down a shell-lined path and causeway bridge from the east end of Sanibel's southern beach. On the day that we arrived (Christmas Day), the shells that we picked up were astonishing, though on the subsequent days, it was tougher; there are lots of people out and about also looking for high quality shells. I also gather that the eastern end tends to accumulate smaller shells, while the big shells are more easily found on the western end and Captiva Island, but we also got to see dolphins, pelicans, and even one or two live mollusks (though that's always a matter of luck of the draw).
The lanai was nice, offered some privacy, and a place to survey our haul from the beach. Not so sure about the shell washing station, which was a hose and a wire grating. Most shellhounds advocate rinsing, then soaking the shells in a bleach solution, and they didn't have bleach on hand for those purposes. Each floor of rooms has a laundry room with one washer and one dryer. We never had difficulty getting what we needed, and the desk does have some detergent for sale (though you can get packs somewhat cheaper at the local supermarket).
WiFi access was good. Each condo/room has its own WiFi network, though after a storm, our own network was actually down. It was possible to jump onto another room's network or onto the xfinity public network, though both leave me a little concerned about WiFi security.
Bathroom was fair; water pressure in the shower was good, but the toilet was somewhat easily clogged.
Kitchen had an electric stove, with acceptable tools, including a stainless steel skillet which we used a lot.
So, the stay delivered what we wanted: prime location next to an amazing beach, at an acceptable price.
