I was charged a $27 for something that I wasn't aware of!

Beautiful! Funny thing, though. Had a hot tub but no frig or microwave. Needed new pillows too. Hope to back next summer.

Nice enough for a one night stay but I think the
Pros:Excellent customer service from front desk staff.
Cons:Carpeting felt slightly damp. Beds were way too soft with not enough support for good nights sleep.
Location:We stayed there on way to Kellys Island.
Nice enough place for a night or two. I'd possibly stay in one of their cottages next time. The room is pretty basic but did have a jacuzzi tub. Access to the tiny beach was nice.
The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, especially Allison, thank you!
Previous reviews are correct about the very thin walls. Unfortunately had very cranky small children in room next door and could hear the nasty way parents handled their situation.

the view of the lake was amazing and the whirlpool in the room was nice. The staff was helpful with the things around like food and entertainment.

Off the beaten path.
Pros:Free breakfast
Cons:Nothing close, thin walls
Most of the hotels in the Cedar Point area are pretty generic and I was looking for something a little more. This property had a lot of amenities for a reasonable price. Because my visit was later in the year I did not use any of the outdoor amenities. The hotel itself seemed like an updated older property. Room was nice. We enjoyed the balcony and there was a nice in room hot tub. It was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Strangely our GPS had a problem locating the property. To get to a grocery store or restauraunt is a bit of a drive. The on site restauraunt/bar was closed. My only real concern is there was noticeable noise from adjacent rooms. I could clearly hear activity next door that; well, you might not want your kids to hear. The continental breakfest was very spartin. Overall, nice amenities at a location that is close to Cedar Point. A little off the beaten path which was nice.

Good start to the summer
Pros:Free breakfast
Cons:Nothing close
We stayed one night over Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed the adult pool. There is also a children's pool. We enjoyed walking on the dock. There was no restaurant or bar in the hotel (I was expecting one, buy maybe they were not open because it was early in the season). The hotel was in a out of the way area, you had to drive to get to any restaurants or stores. It is not close to downtown Marblehead. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Bait and Switch
We made reservations for Sunday & Monday of Labor Day weekend on their online site, not through any booking agency. We were called the next morning by a manager that said they were canceling our reservation as per orders of the owner, if we didn't pay more than what the 'spa package' was booked for online. We spoke to one of the owners and were told "I'm only making $on this deal and I can get a lot more for that room this weekend" He told my husband that he would give us a non-waterfront room with no jacuzzi, no dinner, no champagne and one spa treatment for the cost of our originally booked package.. which was a waterfront King Jacuzzi room, dinner for two, champagne and two spa treatments or choice of couples massage.
