"Lovely place, walkable to Sandbanks! Very clean, super quiet, really appreciated the ping pong table, games, sauna and hot tub. Great for our multi generational getaway. Bedrooms are on the second up a cute but steep set of stairs and bathroom is on the first floor so for anyone with mobility issues, it’s a good thing to be aware of. "

"Room was dated and in need of repairs, broken tiles, damaged carpet, outlets and light fixtures no longer secured to the walls. Restaurant was closed due to renovation but wasn’t made aware of this until we had got to our room. "

"Super clean. Beautifully appointed. Gorgeous llake views and spectacular sunsets. Delicious fresh-baked goods for breakfast along with fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee selections. Top notch amenities and very gracious hosts. A perfectly relaxing mini vacation! "

"Old and not well kept"

"From the moment we arrived at Julie and Al’s B&B, we felt instantly welcomed. Their warmth and hospitality made the place feel like home. The lake view was absolutely breathtaking, and the entire home was spotless. Our room had a private balcony where we enjoyed stunning sunsets, and the sunroom by the lake quickly became our favorite spot. Every detail, from the comfortable mattress to the thoughtful addition of a bidet, showed how much care the hosts put into their guests’ experience. The coffee and breakfast each morning were delicious. Although we had plans to explore the city, we found ourselves spending most of our time at the B&B because it was just so peaceful and beautiful. Thank you, Julie and Al, for the unforgettable stay. We’ll definitely be back!"

"This was a relatively good size for a family of four for the weekend. We rented this place because it was right across the street from the venue of the wedding we came for. The location is close to the county road so it can be noisy at night but that didn’t really bother me as there were plenty of fans. There was a large shared backyard that you could walk to for a food truck and the brewery which was nice. The provincial park and beach is a short drive away so there are a few fun things within driving range. An addition of a living room chair or two would make it more comfortable as there seemed to be only one solid couch and we used some dining chairs to get us all around to chat in the living room. There is a decent deck space to visit outside though. It was a bit dirty upon arrival. For the cost I would have anticipated more attention to detail and a cleaner space but otherwise, I think this was a decent space. It is a semi-detached house but both sides can be rented it just don’t work out with our family that way but that would be fun in the future."
