Everything was pretty much clean. The only thing that was not clean in the room are the pillow. The cases had stains on them and they smelled like they had been used multiple times. Change your pillows please.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I had stayed at a bit more expensive hotel a block away on a previous drive through town. Trying to but a bit more budget minded, I chose Comfort Inn. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast, though not outstanding, met my needs. The staff was very polite. And, most importantly, I felt safe.
