Beautiful Home / Clean & Easy Check In

We had a great stay in Sámara. We appreciated the chairs and boogie boards we took to the beach. The beds were comfortable and it’s a close drive into town. Thank you for a great stay and opening your home.

Just what we needed!

Samara is a magical place and this house was our perfect home away from home. It is just a few minutes from town up a very steep hillside. We rented a car which worked well for this purpose. The home and pool area are completely private and enclosed. It is quiet and serene except for some minor construction noise and the sounds of nature. Louis was easy to communicate with. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Some furniture and the fridge may soon need to be repaired or replaced but this did not take away from the wonderful home as everything functioned well! We highly recommend Samara and everything it has to offer. We are hoping to return next year and bring more family. The house next door is accessible through a gate so we are hopeful we can rent out both properties. Thank you, Louis!

Above and beyond

You couldn't ask for a better manager/owner: he responds immediately (even during a family emergency) to issues with the house. Even brought me a yoga mat! Oh yes, the house is awesome, amazing landscaping.

Outstanding Stay - Highly Recommend!

The house and yard are beautiful with everything needed to make it an enjoyable, perfect stay! We loved the large table outside for meals and that chairs, coolers and toys were provided to make our beach day amazing!

Perfect stay in Samara

We spend a really good time at Casa Tranquilla. It is well located and had everything we needed. Louis, the manager, was really friendly, helpful and responsive. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Beautiful house

Overall, we had a great stay. The house was stunning and Louis was incredibly responsive when things popped up. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain during the extent of our stay, which had some small impacts on the trip itself and limited our use of the amenities and exploring the area, but we’d definitely recommend the house if you’re visiting Samara.

A Private Pocket of Beauty

Beautiful modern casita perfect for us two, outer walls lined with gorgeous plants to entice the butterflies and damsel flies. Spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, well-screened sliding window-doors for easy indoor-outdoor living. The pool was wonderful for cooling off. Outdoor covered bed to relax on was sweet, with howler monkeys entertaining us in the trees... once we figured out what they were! Overall, the place was a gem!

Beautiful and peaceful

My husband and I along with our daughter and her husband stayed at Casa Tranquila for 10 days. The house is aesthetically beautiful inside and out. The layout of the house is spacious and perfect for two couples. The kitchen is very well equipped and the outdoor dining area was great for meals and just hanging out. There is A/C in all the rooms as well as outdoor fans which helped to keep the mosquitos away. We spent a lot of time around the pool watching the monkeys that would visit almost daily. The house has everything you need for the beach, from beach towels to umbrellas to chairs. The location is excellent, very close to the town and to Corrillo Beach. Louis is a great host. He was very responsive to any questions or requests that we had before or during our stay. I would highly recommend this house. It was hard to leave!

This place is a gem!

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Tranquila. I can’t say enough positive things about this place. We traveled with our family (kids ages 7 and 9). The place was safe, clean, and comfortable for our family. The property is surrounded by 9’ stucco walls requiring a separate key to enter-we always felt safe and secure. The property has a feel like it’s your own private resort with the saltwater pool in the back, which was the perfect depth for our children. Plenty of beach towels were provided. Our kids enjoyed the boogie boards at the house as well. The outdoor Sonos system at the pool was a nice touch and we had fun just sitting outside and relaxing. It’s very easy to do at this house! The air conditioning kept the house cool and comfortable. The house is very quiet (with the exception of the howler monkeys, which we enjoyed seeing in the tree out front). It’s in a great location, only a few minutes drive to Samara and Playa Carrillo, in a safe neighborhood with lots of other nice homes. I would recommend 4wd to get up the steep gravel hill to get to the home. The kitchen had everything we needed to make several meals when we weren’t dining out in Samara. The place is very close to the zip lining place which was convenient. Louis was an incredible host and extremely welcoming and responsive to our requests. If you are looking for the perfect getaway in Samara, don’t hesitate to book this place! We will definitely be back!

Amazing! Peace of mind and perfection!

This newly built house is absolutely perfect. Great location between Samara and Playa Carillo. A bit of a hill so a 4x4 is useful, and the town is a short drive away. The kitchen is very well equipped. Louis is an amazing host. We saw birds and monkeys while just hanging out by the pool. We travelled with a baby, and this place was perfect to set up. Would also be well suited for two couples or a family. Can't recommend it enough!
