The place was very nice. Unfortunately there was a lock (that needed a key) door for the master bedroom and my 6year old accidentally locked it from the inside. We were locked out of the room all night Becasue there was no spare key for it. We had to wait until morning and the owner was not very understanding about it. I would hope after this incident she will change that door handle for safety reasons. I don’t think there is any reason that they should have a door with a lock that one cannot open in case of an emergency.

We’ve stayed here before because we love it so much. Great location in a beautiful part of SSI, close to the best beach on the island. Beautiful clean condo, with lots of light and lovely patio. Elena the owner is great. We’ve already booked it again for next summer.

If you are staying more than one night you'll have to bring your own kitchen garbage bags as these are not provided.

Always very special

This was our 3 weekly stay at this lovely condo and we stayed 2 other weeks in the same Vesuvius condo project some years prior. The place is kept very clean and updated. The bedding is always fantastic. The washer and dryer are a big plus along with a full kitchen with all that you could ask for even some very nice glassware/wine glasses. A very clean propane BBQ is only 5 steps away from your front door which is next to the kitchen.The views are nice, especially when sitting or eating on the patio. The elevator really helps upon checking in and out. The parking is very easy and always available and if you plan on taking the ferry to/from Crofton, it's very convenient being just down the road. We can't imagine staying anywhere else on the Island during our annual trips to SSI.
