Dear guests,

Welcome to our charming 3-story townhouse, nestled in the heart of Salies-de-Béarn. Built in 1662, this 17th Century home blends authentic historic character with modern comfort, offering a truly unique French experience.

Entry is through the original ornate door into a spacious tiled lounge room. The lounge room features high, wood beamed ceilings, and is equipped with internet television and a cast iron wood heater.
Walk through to a fully equipped, country-style kitchen and dining area. French doors open onto a private courtyard, ideal for al fresco dining or just enjoying the clean, fresh town air. A barbecue is also available for your use.

When you ascend the wooden staircase to the second floor, you will discover two spacious double bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms features a full ensuite bathroom, complete with linen and towels for your convenience.

The third floor offers another spacious bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom.This level has a second open lounge area with a sofa bed.

Wall radiators are also located throughout the house for your ease and comfort.

Situated just one street away from the town square, our accommodation is a short walk from all amenities, including cafes, bakeries, restaurants, bars, boutique cinema and shops.

Salies is famous for its therapeutic thermal magnesium salt baths, offering a truly relaxing and healing experience.

With Spain just an hour's drive away and beaches within 45 minutes, our location is ideal for exploring the regions many quaint towns. Find a treasure in the gorgeous regional brocantes (bric-a-brac) and practice your French with the exceptionally friendly and inviting local communities.

The house manager lives in Salies (and speaks fluent english) can be on hand to assist you in person. We look forward to hosting you and warmly welcome your pets.

Très agréable maison, nous y avons passé un très bon séjour en famille. La maison est vraiment spacieuse, haute de plafond et propre. Amateurs de déco moderne, passez votre chemin, il s’agit ici de meubles anciens, y compris dans les salles de bains, bien accordées à cette maison de 1668. Fleur, Anthony, et Aimée sur place, répondent à toutes vos questions très rapidement. Il y a tout le confort nécessaire, le Wifi, box TV et chaîne hifi, et des prises partout. Les trois salles de bains et WC (il n’y en a pas au rez-de-chaussée) sont vraiment appréciables et les lits sont confortables, sans être forcément larges. La maison est réellement centrale, juste la rue à traverser et une petite ruelle piétonne en face à emprunter pour se retrouver sur la place centrale de Salies. Les thermes et les commerces sont également très proches. Des stationnements gratuits partout alentour y compris juste de l’autre côté de la rue Paul Jean Toulé.Petit bémol, la terrasse/cour extérieure mériterait un peu d’ombrage au plus fort de la journée et quelques plantes d’agrément. Petit plus, hormis le nombre de salles de bains et WC, un petit cadeau d’arrivée local bien apprécié !Jean
