At the foot of the ramparts of the medieval town of Sainte Suzanne, classified among the “Most Beautiful Villages in France”, this independent house combines an old renovated part with a contemporary extension in wooden construction.

It will accommodate up to 6 people in a comfortable setting.
In the renovated old part, you will find a fully equipped kitchen allowing you to prepare your own meals, a bright living room with a stove for your winter evenings, and upstairs the “North Tower” bedroom with 2 beds 90 x 200 and a small office. Access to this bedroom is via a staircase leading directly into the bedroom (no door).
In the contemporary part, you will find on the garden level, the “South Tower” bedroom with a 160 x 200 bed and access to the garden, upstairs the “Guet Tower” bedroom with a 160 x 200 bed, a baby bed and a play and relaxation area. On the same level as the old part, the contemporary part includes a living room with a view of the Charnie forest, a bathroom and a separate toilet. This cottage is equipped with WIFI and a TV.
Outside, a terrace on stilts with access to the living room, and another terrace at the bottom of the garden with dining area and barbecue.
The enclosed grounds will reassure you about the safety of children.

Biker and cyclist friends, you can bring your 2 wheels under the courtyard.

The medieval town of Sainte Suzanne is nicknamed “The Pearl of Maine”.
You can discover its history, with the Erves dolmen, the dungeon (11th century) which resisted William the Conqueror, the castle (17th century) built for Fouquet de la Varenne, minister of Henri IV, governor general of the Post Office, the Auditoire museum, the Grand Moulin, the English camp…
Many cultural activities are offered all year round.
Numerous hiking trails around the city will allow you to stroll on foot, by bike or on horseback, discover the Tertre Ganne site or even the mill promenade.
A little further, prehistory awaits you with the caves of Saulges (17 km), and the Roman era with the Gallo-Roman city of Jublains (23 km).
In Sainte Suzanne, you benefit from all the local shops (pharmacy, bakery, restaurants, etc.) and much more with the art stores. For your babies, all the equipment is available in the gîte: a real cot up to current standards, a secure high chair, a changing mat, a deckchair and a bathtub.
You can come accompanied by your animal, on the condition that it does not climb on the sofas, does not stay in the rooms and that you collect its droppings in the garden.
