La Palombière – A Comfortable Forest Cabin in the Heart of the Landes de Gascogne Nature Park

Located in Saint-Symphorien, within the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park, La Palombière is a detached, single-storey cabin of 36 m², suitable for guests with reduced mobility. You can accommodate two adults and a baby, and bring a well-behaved, leashed pet. The bedroom features a king-size bed, the living area offers a kitchenette and a fireplace perfect for grilling, and the bathroom is fully functional. A travel cot, high chair, and washing machine are available upon request.



Nestled in the middle of the forest, this peaceful haven invites you to disconnect and relax, with forest therapy, fresh air, and starry nights far from any noise or light pollution. The cabin provides the perfect setting to recharge and enjoy nature.



Strategically located, La Palombière allows you to discover local heritage, the castles and monuments of Bordeaux, the Sauternes and Graves wine regions just 25 km away, as well as the beaches of Hostens, Biscarrosse, and Arcachon. Hiking, cycling, and horse-riding enthusiasts will find numerous trails right at your doorstep.



Environmentally conscious, the cabin uses eco-friendly materials, wood heating, good insulation, and systems to save water and energy. Waste sorting is made easy. Upon request, we offer transfers from the train station or airport, bike rental, luggage transport, picnics, maps and road-books for hikes, and horse accommodation with tack room and arena, all available for an extra fee.
