Nice accommodation, don't recommend the restaurant

The accommodation was very good. The restaurant was expensive and the waiters inflexible. When we asked for a vegetarian option we were told the meat would be taken off the dish and more vegetables added! We had to send back the first plate of pork because we couldn't cut into it - neither could the waiter!

Nice place to stay

Hotel located in a beautiful castle with an enjoyable garden. The decoration is classy and modern, the staff is helpful and the rooms are very comfortable. Nice place to visit the Pilat natural park or the cities of Lyon and Saint-Etienne.

Beautiful hotel on lovely grounds. The only negative was the man at the check-in desk. Although my husband speaks French, the clerk felt he had to get a young intern chef from the states to translate for him and us. The chef was a lovely young lady who put up with this, although I’m sure she had much to do in the kitchen. We were unable to eat in the restaurant because it’s booked for weeks in advance. It is a Michelin starred restaurant. The bed was very comfortable.

Sehr schönes Chateau (von außen), der Innenbereich wirkt durch seine Gestaltung eher einfach (aber halt eher „ günstig „ statt schick), auf dem Zimmer (das sich in Verbindung mit dem Restaurant „Bio“ positioniert ), passen die Pappbecher für Kaffee oder auch im Bad nicht wirklich. Auch der Geruch vom Restaurant war nicht sehr schön im Zimmer (Lüftung). Das Frühstück war sehr gut, wenngleich leider nicht im Restaurant des Chateau sondern in einem Nebengebäude ggü

Ok boende. Usel service. Trots att det finns restaurang så vägrade dom servera något på kvällen. Det enda valet var en 7-rätters meny, Minst 3 kockar på plats som inte kan fixa en paj, sallad. Det känns mäktigt att äta en vardagskväll. Mycket snorkigt bemötande och dåliga på engelska. Hänvisade till 3 restauranger 5-7 km bort. Mycket bra frukost serverad av en trevlig och social rumänsk kille.

Very nice historic castle which has been renovated. The pool is also new and beautiful. Staff was friendly but very chaotic. We had to wait a long time for somebody to show up at the reception. There was not asked about making a reservation at the restaurant. The bed and the room were very good and cute. Only downside is the door, which keeps no noise out. Our neighbours were awake at 6 and we heard every move they made and word they said. There were little things to see or restaurants in the neighbourhood and it felt quite weird navigating the neighbourhood in the evening. Lots of people hanging on the streets, drunk or grouping up.
