Ker'n d'Oueil - SAINT PAUL D'OUEIL

Large village house in the Oueil valley, above Luchon, with garden and breathtaking view of the 3000 peaks! Ker'n d'Oueil is a detached house located at an altitude of 1100m in a small, quiet, and typical Pyrenean village, just a stone's throw from the ski resorts. This lovely house, renovated in 2019 and facing south, will allow you to fully enjoy your mountain holiday in an exceptional setting! Halfway between Bagnères-de-Luchon and the Peyragudes ski resort, this gîte benefits from an ideal location to enjoy the mountains in both summer and winter. Numerous hikes are possible directly from the house in the Oueil valley, with its charming villages and unspoiled nature. The panoramic views of the Pyrenean peaks are breathtaking; Thomas, a mountain guide, will be able to tell you all about them! Luchon, 9km away, offers activities, shops, and services (thermal baths, water park, golf course, swimming lake, equestrian center, etc.). Ker'n d'Oueil is arranged over three levels: Ground floor: entrance hall, kitchen with dining area, living room (fireplace), WC with washbasin under the stairs. First floor: landing leads to three bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed (160x200cm). The blue and yellow bedrooms each have a washbasin. Large shower room, WC. Second floor (attic): landing provides access to two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed (160x200cm), a dormitory with two sets of bunk beds (90x200cm), a shower room, WC. Gas central heating. Wi-Fi internet access. All utilities included. The Chemin de la Hount is used twice daily by flocks of sheep from November to May. Parking is available in the alley, on the main street, and in designated parking areas at the edge of the village. We live in a house adjoining the gîte, so we will likely see each other during your stay. An outdoor area is reserved for you in front of the house with tables, chairs, a parasol, sun loungers, and a barbecue. The rest of the garden is shared; you are welcome to explore our vegetable patch.
