Le Séchoir des acacias "3 Gîtes: 12 personnes".

in Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère near the Lascaux Cave, was built in the 1960s and witnessed the golden age of tobacco until the early 2000s. As this crop gradually disappeared from the Périgord landscape, the building was used for several years as a storage warehouse.

In 2017, seeing the building deteriorate over time and wishing to preserve it from disappearing, the current owners embarked on a real adventure to restore and safeguard this former agricultural monument.

After four years of extensive work in collaboration with local craftsmen, the drying barn has now been transformed into spacious apartments, each featuring a covered terrace.

The three apartments are fully equipped for comfort. Each includes two bedrooms of 11 m²: one with a double bed (160x200 cm), and the other with two single beds (90x200 cm), a separate toilet, a bathroom with shower and double sink, and a large open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area.

Shared meals are taken in Apartment 2 on the ground floor.

Bed linen and towels are provided.

The owners live next door.
Pets are not allowed.
Security deposit: €1200.

The shared swimming pool is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in July and August, and from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in mid-season. It is accessible from early June to the end of September.
