Fabulous house in quiet setting. Worked really well for our family of 16, although we had the annex as well which I believe is no longer available. The main house is perfect for 14 with a mixture of ages. Good and plentiful bathrooms. Well equipped throughout. Plenty of grounds and outside and indoor entertainment. Table tennis and pool table were well used. The pool itself is really good and spotlessly clean. However the wooden surrounds are badly damaged with one side unsafe in my opinion and the rest in poor condition. Some splinters had to be removed from the children. The pool area needs a complete revamp with the surrounds replacing with hard materials and the temporary fencing on two sides replaced with proper railings. With this improvement the house may well be worth what the owner is asking for rental next year - a fifty percent rise from what we paid! A ten minute walk took us to the river with canoeing, a mill and a very nice restaurant, all of which we enjoyed. We had a lovely holiday. Thank you Christine.
