Your host: A family estate documented since the mid-15th century, at the end of the Hundred Years' War. Chapel, pavilion, wine press, stables—the various uses of the buildings have spanned the centuries. The manor house, now offered as a gîte (holiday rental), was built at the end of the 17th century by extending the oldest section, located where the current dining room and kitchen are situated. After 1870, the current grounds were completely redesigned in the English landscape style, as evidenced by a majestic Wellingtonia sequoia. The owners continue to plant ornamental trees today while preserving natural habitats and promoting biodiversity.
