Lovely house with pretty blue shutters and a great pool. The location is quiet, not really 'wild' as per the title but on the edge of town. Kitchen has everything you need and there's a lovely outdoor eating area that we used multiple times a day. The tiny lizards love basking on the dark wooden decking. Comfy beds. We hired bikes and cycled to the markets and beaches which was lovely, it's quite slow going driving around the island because of all the bikes so leave your car if you can! It's just 10 minutes cycle to the town which has a great daily market with loads of fresh produce as well as touristy bits and bobs. Arrive early to miss the boulangerie queue! Wonderful cycle tracks to beaches, lighthouse and different towns. A few downsides...not enough hot water for 7 of us staying, don't be the last in the shower when you get back from the beach or it's freezing! House not very clean, I guess that's the down side of the tenants always choosing to do their own cleaning to save 150 euros, needs a regular cleaner who knows the house. Some parts dusty/cobwebs/not had a good scrub for a while. We definitely left it cleaner than when we arrived! Upstairs pull out bed broken (ALL screws missing!). 15 euros gets you two sheets, one pillow case, large and small white towels, and 2 tea towels for 7 of us. You still need to bring your beach towels. Overall we had a wonderful stay :-)
