Sorry to report a bad experience at this hotel. There was a miscommunication over the scheduling of a spa treatment and it was decided that I would be the one to take the fall. It is unfortunate to see short-sighted decisions by hotel managers in these situations, eliminating any possibility of repeat business, word of mouth recommendations, and leading to poor online reviews. This anti-service, anti-customer trend is all to prevelant in europe as a whole. Poor business practices like this don't take into consideration that swindeling a customer out of $300 and them leaving unhappy eliminates a potentially life-long customer. Lack of fundamental business concept understandings such as these are to a large degree why europe in general has become such a laggard on the world stage, and dwindles further and further into irrelevance and economic uncertainty.

Excellent staff - they managed an early check in for us which was very much appreciated with jet lag. Very clean hotel , nice large room Comfortable bed , great water pressure in the showers , robes etc and welcome swiss chocolate ! The soundproofing wasn’t the greatest - could hear traffic and other noise - which was ok at night because it was quiet- but tough to get a nap in the day to beat the jet lag.

An service man is very friendly. Check in time in Expedia is 2PM, but, we need to wait until 3PM to go in the room. The hotel parking was full. But, there is another private parking building near the hotel and it was good.

We found the Hotel very easily and only a short walk from the train station. There were plenty of restaurants and bars close by and not far from the Lake.

A fantastic hotel with very friendly and courteous staff. The superior room booked had all amenities you may require within and was very spacious A short walk from Geneva Central Station and a 4 minute walk to the Lake, shops and Christmas markets. Would definitely recommend 👌

Disappointing experience

While this is a lovely hotel and centrally located, my flight was delayed and they still charged me for the night that I was unable to use. I was told hotels.com would need to approve before they could amend, but once they approved it the hotel was still unwilling to refund the night. Very disappointing! Wish I could give them a better rating because everything else was great.

Great option for proximity to the lake

I enjoyed my 2 night stay here for business but one leisure day at the end of a longer trip. They were able to accommodate a pretty late checkout (for a fee) which was great because my departing flight wasn’t until nighttime. I did not use any of the facilities like the gym/bar. Room was nicely appointed - a tiny bit small walking past the bed but honestly overall it was a larger size hotel room for what I’m used to in Europe. Could open the window to let a nice breeze in (everywhere I went on this trip it was so hot indoors!) So overall it’s a pretty basic (but nice) European hotel. And it’s in a convenient location. I think it is by some red light-ish night clubs, but I only noticed one time walking back late and it reminded me because I had read in some reviews but it is zero issue / if I hadn’t read ahead I probably wouldn’t have even noticed
