The person who checked us in did not give us our breakfast voucher, instruct us properly on parking or inform us on gym/pool location. Bathroom in room was very small. Breakfast and staff are amazing.

The whole stay was perfect. My only complaint was that the hot tub wasn’t hot either time I checked but the pool and workout room are great. Staff is amazing, helpful and friendly. Our first night there my son got the fish and chips from room service and it was fast and delicious (and reasonably priced)

Hotel was nice and clean and the location is great at the edges of downtown Halifax, a very short walk to the Pier and numerous great shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly (albeit sometimes slow at the front desk) and the room was very comfortable. However, the hotel does appear to be long overdue for some renovations as the infrastructure is clearly dated and seemingly on its last legs.

When we arrived we noticed water on our bathroom floor . We assumed it was condensation from the toilet. We wiped it up and covered it with a towel . Next day we noticed the sink was wet. We thought it was our mess and wiped it up with facecloths. The next day we got up and went out for the day and rushed back to get ready for supper reservations. Our floor was soaking , the sink and all of our toiletries were dripping wet, my make up brush could not be used again, and there was water running down the wall as well. This explains the mouldy damp smell in our room as well. They offered to give us a room change that night but we were already running late for our supper because of the inconvenience of our toiletries being wet and we were leaving the next am . It’s such a shame because I have stayed here numerous times for work conferences as well and I’m shocked at how run down it’s becoming

Bathroom is small. And we had 4 guests and they only put 1 bottle of water in our room, we called front desk at 11pm and they told us they don’t give assistance at this time, so we had no water. I should be able to call front desk and get items sent to the room 24/7, like most hotels. It’s not like it’s food.
